FROM CAIRO TO BISSAU VIA - CASABLANCA AND DAKAR
Roy has reported in and has the following to say. Arrived back in Cairo yesterday....writing this from The Harris Cafe, a lovely Internet cafe....wood paneled pub style...but no alcohol here...much more than a cafe....super food menu with lots of deserts and non-alcoholic drinks with names we usually relate to the stronger versions....Skype messages coming in offering to keep me company so I don't eat alone tonight....my traveling companions are off to the pyramids for a night horse back ride. Off to Bissau via Casablanca and Dakar... early morning departure 0700 which means a 0500 ck in...ughhh....We will have about eight hours to continue our rounds of Casablanca and maybe an exotic lunch. My best to all my readers and listeners. Roy

BISSAU TO CASABLANCA
Casablanca (Spanish for "white house" ; Standard Arabic: الدار البيضاء transliterated ad-Dār al-Bayḍāʼ; Moroccan Arabic: dar beïda) is a city in western Morocco, located on the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of the Greater Casablanca region.
With a population of 3.1 million (3.8 million in the "greater Casablanca" (September 2005 census), Casablanca is Morocco's largest city as well as its chief port. It's also the biggest city in the Maghreb and the sixth biggest city in the entire continent of Africa. With a majority of the modern economic sector being based in the Casablanca region, and the Casablanca area being dominant in industrial and service sector activity, it is often and justifiably referred to as the economic capital, although Morocco's political capital is Rabat....
Oh by the way, Roy has hinted his next stop will be where mummies can be found!.
